Team Leading
NVQ Level: 2-
The level 2 Team Leading NVQ is a nationally recognised qualification for employees who are looking to develop their leadership skills along with the skills and knowledge to improve and optimise their team for success. The Team Leading programme is ideal for those who are responsible for small groups of staff within a department or section, either as Team Leaders, Co-ordinators, or Supervisors.
Throughout the programme you will learn how to manage and co-ordinate your team's resources as well as develop productive working relationships with your employees. And as part of the on the job training programme you will gain a deeper understanding of where you can grow and develop on a personal level allowing you to take on more responsibility and ultimately progress your own career.
You will be able to demonstrate to your employer the skills you have gained by the improved efficiency of your team. You will have a more motivated, empowered and innovative team who are up to date with the latest business practices. The level 2 Team Leading NVQ programme is an extremely valuable qualification not only for current employers but any future employers along your career path.

Candidates will need to achieve the following three NVQ mandatory units:
Manage personal development (A1)
Develop working relationships with colleagues (D1)
Communicate information and knowledge (E11)And complete the following two NVQ optional units:
Plan, allocate and monitor work of a team (D5)
Participate in meetings (D12)Funded candidates will also complete the following:
Key Skill Application of Number Level 1
Key Skill Communication Level 2
ILM Certificate in Team Leading Level 2 -
