This course is taught as a four day practical workshop with no additional assessment days.

- Making the most of client consultations including behaviour change, health screening, motivation and goal setting techniques.
- Cardiovascular conditioning
- Advanced training methods for improving cardiovascular conditioning.
- Muscular strength, size and endurance
- Advanced training methods for improving muscular strength, size and endurance.
- Dynamic and facilitated stretching for flexibility
- Introduction to core stability and core strength conditioning
- Integrating motor skill development

Assessment
Students will show their advanced programming knowledge by completing a case study. Their practical skills are also assessed during the course. Upon successful completion of this module and Exercise and Fitness Knowledge level 3 students will achieve the Lifetime Advanced Fitness Instructor Award and entry to REPs at level 3.
