A more detailed look at the heart, lungs and vascular system including their structure, function and the effect of coronary heart disease.
Energy for muscle action
Covers the energy systems responsible for fueling the body during exercise and how training can affect them.
Nervous and endocrine system
Understand how nervous and hormonal responses affect the body.

National Standards for Exercise and Fitness Logo

This module in assessed by completing a 90 minute multiple choice exam. Successful completion of this module and Advanced programming will gain the Lifetime Advanced Fitness Instructor Award.
