 Core Stability

This one-day workshop is designed to provide instructors with the knowledge and practical skills to deliver a range of core stability training methods. It includes the skills to deliver exercise variables utilising the stability ball either in a group or one-to-one environment. Participants who complete the workshop will be able to demonstrate an understanding of core stability, the value of functional core stability exercises and will be able to deliver core stability training to clients in a fun way.

  • Mobilising and stabilising muscles and their roles
  • Stability Balls and tools used for core stability development
  • Delivery of fun and practical group and individual stability ball sessions
  • Develop and learn a 'tool-box' of core stability exercises

Entry Requirements

A REPs recognised Fitness Instructor Qualification (level 2) is required prior to commencing this course.This workshop is formatively assessed students will achieve a certification of attendance and 10 CPD credits.
