Erron Duffard

Erron Duffard, 24, was a bank clerk for 4½ years. Simply not inspired by his job, he decided to hand in his notice earlier this year. A few days later he found out about a government funded course to train as a Fitness Instructor, called CEFF and, having always been keen on the gym, he decided he had nothing to lose.

He really enjoyed the course and managed to get a paid job as a fitness instructor just three weeks after it finished. He works at LA Fitness in Holborn and is loving his job. Looking back, he says now that he doesn’t think he understood, when he signed up for the course, just how much he would enjoy his new career. "Working 1:1 with people to help them achieve their goals is brilliant, I can't believe how much happier I am now with my new career. I have so much more job satisfaction than I ever did before"
